Thoughts on this one
any particular coat your looking for? All hoods are removable.

View attachment 943050 So I’m after a printed bomber, apart from the EG hummingbird (which seems to have disappeared from the internet), it looks like dries will be the best option. Thoughts? The one on the left is quilted + reversible (though it’s unlikely I’d wear it with the reverse side out, black with white stripes), the one on the right is calling me by all three names..
I love how abstract the second one is. It's one of the most unique designs I've seen on a bomber. How flashy or muted are you looking to be? I also really like these by Van Noten...

so I want to get a spring parka. something like an m65 or a trail parka, in olive preferably. ideally something used but I'm struggling to find anything available after searching for my normal brands. i'm an xs, so if anyone's seen anything on y!jp/rakuten/etc., give me a shout. tempted to just get an alpha m65 but i've heard the fit leaves something to be desired...

ended up finding a real mccoy's m65 on rakuten for a good price. haven't received it yet and have never ordered from this shop before so hopefully everything goes through, but it seems like it'll be what I'm looking for.

Solovier slippers.... I'd have to find somewhere that has my size first, which so far I haven't been able to do.
To mostly wear with weird patterned Dries pants and some Lemaire...

The only slipper type things I have atm are these Lemaires, but I want something with a bit of a higher profile and the Solovier are fairly cheap.

There's some really nice Lemaire ones for FW18 too, and the Burgundy would be a nice change, but price is pretty extreme.

They don't seem louche enough, I think?
I don't know how to articulate it, but unless there are specific models that you think I should look at, nothing I just saw from 15 mins googling was really what I'm looking for. They all looked too meanswear .

I think the shoes will fit more than you think in the realm of Dries or even Lemaire aesthetics. @beepbop can share more from his experience.

B&L has more choice that is for sure and I can see the Barbanera Rimbaud model work with Dries.

If you want black/brown/maroon just try to inquire with B&L about a plain toe, smooth calf design.

Shape is really the same; if it is any consolation I think the Barbanera and B&L of the world look nicer and probably hold up better. I have the same pair of Lemaire black loafers and will most likely get more wear out of the new Barbanera "AKC" model.

And it's not so much a difference between SW&D and CM more as I think you just want to stick with the same designer or designer brand in general versus a new option. Just my two cents.

edit:
Don't get too hung up with the SW&D because there's a lot of neat things CM has to offer in terms of cool clothes and shoes, which IMO can gel well designers.

I was looking for the same thing a year or so ago, found that there were lots of examples on Zozo from Padrone etc, but probably none big enough size wise. Dries was an option but supposedly naff quality. Guidi too but pricey.

41789503st_14_f.jpg any reason this wouldn't work over a suit? or suggestions for some other type of lightweight raincoat thing?
