I do think that they look good with super flares, a la 70s, too.

Yeah, flares are back too, I hope to pick up a pair of nice slacks either in flare or just plain fat legs (not raver fat pants but still large).

Any reccs for flares ? I have this old Raf pair that's too slim, can't find any Branquinho etc, I'm sure we're about to be flooded with them but I haven't really looked into it yet.

Now raver-fat I'm familiar with

Same here, right now people are picking them up at high-end vintage shops (flares are big in the small world of fashion although not very mainstream). Pilati at YSL had some good ones and so did Branquinho but both are hard to find.

I think I'll stick to CdG for lose/large slacks, other brands to make them a little bit too casual. I'd also go for something by Schneider but not too sure he made anything like that in recent collections.

is this... an ok looking MA-1/G-1? I don't really like shearling collars but I like Isaora and the combination of tech fabrics and traditoinal design.

Nylon + Primaloft is nice

You should buy it and post some impressions. It's free shipping/returns.

I have these Schneider Rusk trousers. I'm not sure they qualify as loose for most people (probably more like straight-legged) but I'm pretty skinny so they fit close to how I intended them to. I'm also hunting for some fall/winter-weight trousers in black and grey with more flare.
