yea it looks kinda weird with the collars up, I'm just looking for a slim leather jacket, doesn't have to be a DR, and this one looked cool on first glance and modern ish design.

OK it's payday, and I've got a small bonus burning a hole in my pocket and have decided my wardrobe is missing a leather jacket (is this the same thing as needing a leather jacket?)

Here are the options I'm angsting over (do you suffer ansgt over what garments to buy?)

My current favourite I think, timeless, classic, only downside is it might be a little bit jeremy clarkson

This has caught my eye twice when meandering through selfridges, an awesome texture to the suede. Downside is it's a little bit boyband

I love the colour of this one, but have always avoided all saints as it feels a bit young (I'm 42)

any amazing leather jackets out there? I don't think I could do a biker jacket, although there are some belstaffs that look top and i should say my budget is about a thousand quid

thanks as always
Richard

What are you going to wear it with? Do you have any strong feelings regarding heritage / repro-style jackets (like the LVC) vs. more modern / fashion-forward models?

thanks notwithit, I'm a dark jeans and middle of the road shirt kinda chap, wear that for work on the whole, this is why the first one seemed to suit best, but tried on the M at lunch time and it was too short, they did not have an L so unsure if that would be better

also tried on the all saints lorimer and was very nice, but feels a bit stand outish

will go try on the levis made and crafted tomorrow

hmm maybe i might save up until i can afford a belstaff
