Horween or not, those are giving off strong orthopedic vibes. I'd go for ETQ runners or hunt down Reebok's collaboration with Garbstore instead.

Is this an idea I'll regret in the near future? I'd be wearing the pants and virgils together for most of winter. I feel like black virgils are harder to wear with my other stuff but they look cooler.

The Birkenstock-Paraboot-Mephisto trifecta, go for it.

The brand is inextricably associated with the active seniors crowd in my mind but the all black Rainbows (?) look good there, I can see them working well with your other stuff. I wonder if they're as supremely comfortable as advertised... kinda tempted.
