Guys seriously, it was cool a few times to see old school shoes but now its boring. It one after the other of old shoes. I am expecting in shoe Appreciation GG, EG, Lobb etc. I want to see some "great" and more current things. Old vintage stuff does not cut it.
Can you just create a diff thread? or post less old shoes?

as long as there are posts like this OVERBALANCED by a FULL INBOX of supportive comments, ASKING for BOTH types, posts like this are only motivation! THANK YOU, kind sir!

It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL to discriminate on the basis of AGE! So many attorneys on this site will HAVE to admit this!

C&J from decades long gone have the same right to post as their sons... grandsons... and GREAT grandsons.

So this is a Ralph Lauren Purple Label shoe, made in England, cursive script... all of which I thought would be EG or GG, but it doesn't appear that it's made by either. Any ideas?

are you sure it's purple label? it says polo

So this is a Ralph Lauren Purple Label shoe, made in England, cursive script... all of which I thought would be EG or GG, but it doesn't appear that it's made by either. Any ideas?

The sole has the polo stamp, which usually means C&J; the writing inside the shoe is C&J; but the insole has the cursive script - which means the shoes are either (1) really old, from back when RL didn't have rules and some of the Polo shoes had the cursive writing on the insole; or (2) someone pulled a switcheroo a while back and replaced the insole at some point.
