I have the 11.5D (my regular size) and a pair of 12Bs. I can wear the 12B, but they are tighter than I thought they would be. If your normal size is a 12D, the 12B would fit too tight for comfort.

I don't know if I am qualified for that but I'll defer to iammatt as our guide to Italy, and I'll arrange RJMan as our Freedom guide and Bengal-stripes for the London segment of the trip.

I'll most likely go back to Budapest with a side trip to Italy next late fall or early winter, you have an open invitation to come along.

Highly-polished fine grain leather IMO. Bespoke-quality leather can look very shiny because it's so fine. But in person, you can definitely notice the distinction between the high-shine and the plasticy corrected grain.
