Those are fantastic.

Are they bespoke or made to order? I seem to remember G&G only use those metal toe plates on bespoke, but I'm not sure.

Yup, they're bespoke.

Really coming around to the round toe for certain shoes.

Does Thom Browne and Barkers Blacks worth the price?

Wow, those Thom Browne's are even less exciting than I imagined. I much prefer the wealth of similarly styled shoes available on ebay, which are probably constructed just as nicely. I've been thinking about sewing a little red, white, and blue grosgrain tab on the back of my nearly identical pair, to earn the endless admiration of those in the know.

The Berlutis and Barkers were my favorites, though they were also from different angles than the rest.

I have the Barker Blacks Archdale wingtips and they are one of my favorites. I don't think anyone here will say they are worth the retail price, especially since they raised the prices this fall. They were $775 as recently as a season or 2 ago. Nevertheless, on sale, I'd say they are definitely worth it. Try Saks Fifth Ave or Bergdorf Goodman during sale time, or better yet try them during a Friends and Family promotion as the Archdale is a popular style and not likely to go on seasonal sales.
