Does anyone know about Hegarty Shoes?

I bought a pair of NOS cordovan shoes of this brand about a month ago, but I cannot find anything about who made'em. The seller claim that they're made in England. In the insole reads: "Hegarty shoes. Market Place. Kettering"

Any clues?

That doesn't look like #6 to me. Maybe brandy?

I just got my AE Troys in the mail (Ebay). So far I couldn't be happier with them.

It's too dark for brandy. Mahogany is the other possibility but I don't think Rider did that last in Mahogany; thus, I think it's #6. I have the Rider chukka in #6 but the color looks different from mine, hence the reason I asked. I think the difference in color is due to it being a photo.

fourth or fifth wearing of these today:

Alden 'Fan' NST (Alden of Carmel)
#8 shell cordovan
Plaza last
Storm welt
Commando off-road sole

These are very substantial on the foot, in a good way:

^^^Substantial is a good way to describe this shoe. I like the looks of it, and bought it, but it just didn't suit me well. I ended up giving it away.

XdryMartini, I really want a pair of those. AF21, right? I bought a pair of cigar shell Darltons from HenryBoogers as a holdover until I find a pair of Alden Whiskey Shell Longwings. The Darltons are pretty sweet shoes, but it's just not the same.
