Man - the money clip has darkened up a ton already. Is your double magnet fix working out?

Working for now and I think the shell is adjusting to be in the closed position to which helps. Not the prettiest solution, but you can't tell from the outside. Still debating whether we should move forward with the second one.

Got this during my trip to Japan. Interestingly I happened to see a smaller, same color and feel, made in Japan cardholder from Brooks Brothers today. actually wondered if they got from the same source.

That looks great! Any idea what type of shell it is? If it is from Japan, I'm guessing Shinki Hikaku?

Lots of shell pictures today...

I completed a double sided norvegese stitched wallet in Shinki Hikaku Natural shell. Pretty happy with how it turned out. It adds a unique feel to it beyond standard stitching.

Finished up a first order from my official money clip design in Shinki Hikaku Lava Shell.

Also experimented with a more complex interior for the money clip wallet.

And finally @hmlarsson's wallet. Shinki Hikaku Lava exterior (fully stitched) and Clayton Green Shell Cordovan interior with extra deep pockets which are fully stitched around. Very happy with how this turned out!

Nice! I think previous reports did say that Brooks Brothers cordovan accessories were made from Japanese shell.

I have no idea. I bought it from Mitsukoshi, which also sells BB, Paul Smith and many other brand name licensed products.

Good match with the dark green interior and the dark geen dial of my old soviet watch.

And the lava shell is just amazing. Hopefully will be even better with age.
