JB - my brother had a similar poster of the inside of a cockpit...i believe it was a 747? Where did you get that? I always wanted it when he was done, but it got messed up somehow when he was in college and he had to dispose of it.

I bought it from Sporty's Pilot Shop. It's actually a large piece of wallpaper divided into 2 pieces down the middle so you can apply it easier. I tried to look for it on their site but it doesn't look like they carry it anymore

It's a Boeing 777, btw. JB

When you shop with Sporty's you're shopping where the pros shop.

Thank you Bergdorf, I was not aware that the man who killed my uncle shopped at Sporty's. They're still the best place to get pilot gear, it's hard to find anywhere else unless you want to actually drive to the shop. Internet ordering is easier.

Edit- Migo, is that Ferrari on your desktop from the thread in Fine Living/Auto not too long ago? Sure looks like it.

JB it is the same one, though not from the post. I did have that huge EMPIRE Bond picture up there before and then something happened. The Ferrari looks like a sweeet poster when it's projected up on the wall

Some pics of my underfurnished, not-quite-moved-in place. The couch is the Cassina Nest. The table is some sort of vintage (ie. used) 48-inch Saarinen table my dealer found in Palm Springs, because I liked the off-white base of the older tables. And the chairs are Modernica ocean blue fiberglass shells on Eiffel bases. According to my dealer, who is the most egregious enabler ever, the lighting fixture has to go, and he has the perfect thing for me in the form of Nelson bubble lamps. --Andre

Yes, it would look a lot better if it had the carcass of some dead animal slung from it.

Or maybe a foot stool, in the literal sense.

Well the fixture does not go with the table and chairs but neither does the rest of the decor from what I can see.

zjpj: Which area of the NYC Suburbs do you live in, Long Island I presume? Very nice place.

Everyone's houses/rooms/apartments were excellent, I'll take a picture of my room this weekend.
