Went with Frapin Speakeasy on this grey Monday. It's always nice to put this one on to lift up my mood. It's a very balanced tobacco and booze fragrance. Boozy notes typically make me sick, but they are done much differently here, almost in a spiced dry fruit way. Also, the tobacco note is exquisite here.

One I don't wear often, but when the weather is around 10c and wet I do.

It smells incredible with the natural smells outside.

Today's scent - Penhaligon's Hamman Bouquet - about as old school as one can get . . .

Played around with many, many fragrances over the years. Finally settled on three of the best - for me. One though is almost unattainable because of cost.

First is JHL. An Estee Lauder scent made for her husband, John H. Lauder. This is vintage as they changed the formula and weakened it.

Next is :
Aqua Di Parma.jpg

The final and best (for me) is by Roja Dove and is called Diaghilev. A small bottle runs in the thousands so, on special occasions a spritz from a 0.5ml sample will have to do.
