What is the current relationship between Tailors Keep and Martinez? Many SFers recommend
Martinez for "major" alterations. I always used the late Bob Stankovich in Menlo Park as did
many others. I now use Tailor Maid for minor alterations. Not sure they are up to re-cutting
a shoulder, for example, which Bob actually did for me with success.

I called Tailors keep, Palo Alto. Turns out they (still) use Martinez for alterations.
No tailor on site in P.A.

Tailors Keep is also now in Palo Alto.

From Nob Hill you can walk down to the Union Square area so Sears Fine Foods is an easy walk. Le Central, on Bush, is also no more than a 10 minute walk.

Small caveat to this - the Palo Alto location is optimized for MTM. Of course, they can do bespoke, but it’ll be a bit more of a scheduling hassle since only one of their proprietors runs fittings for bespoke and he would have to meet you in Palo Alto for fittings.

Went to Le Central for oysters and French fries for lunch today. Of course Willie Brown AKA " Da Mayor" was sitting in the window seat playing Liars Dice with friends as he has for over 40 years. a " San Francisco" moment. 😁

Decked out in Isaia as is his wont?

I had a very enjoyable visit with Ryan at Tailor's Keep. I highly recommend that you stop in if you haven't already.
