if he's wrapping it around then yeah he's stitching on top (on the outside) (you can see a lip on the first pic also so i thought he was - just wanted to see exactly how he was doing but that other pic doesnt help)

i just thought some cut and stitched back together (example below - big pic so can look closely)

how exacty is he re using the original thread?

i know its possible he could use a bit (but thats ALOT of hassle) but he's got to cut it somewhere then thread his machine up - would be lucky to get one side done

clients happy is alright if they dont know what they're on about - most dont "thats management speak, david"

Mine is done exactly like on that runway pic you posted: they cut the hem out, then stitch it back on the jeans, but wrapped around the raw hem.

Sorry it unclear but I think it shows pretty well on my pics.

I've had 2 pairs of black jeans hemmed - sometimes I just want a clean look but it's crazy how long this talk has been going

I really want a 3 passant belt in brown I love my black one. I thought there was a women's version in brown with gold hardware but I may be mistaken. I'd want silver hardware anyway

pretty sure those SLP's came out while Hedi was still at the helm, but they could just be rando item #24324235 that Kering throws into production~

hey guys, can someone comment on the fit of the breton stripe tops? i believe the distressed ones are oversized and the regular ones are a typical hedi (slim) cut, right?

Yeah, the distressed ones are slightly oversize and the plain ones are more or less standard slim cut, or slightly small depending on your shoulders. I went tts, and while it's a bit tricky to get in and out of, it fits great on, nice and slim. Especially if you plan on using it as a base layer with flannels etc. like I occasionally do, you wouldn't want it much bigger. Great fabric quality too.

I found the Breton boat neck tops a weird fit and they looked odd on me. They are definitely very slim to size too.

Looked at my Devon Derby shoes again this afternoon - I'm not sure this will apply to the boots as well, but the section at the back of the shoe by the heel counter is unlined, and the front half of the shoe is also unlined and you can feel the stitching against your foot. I presume this is to prevent them from being exceptionally long as pointed shoes often can be, and to help give them such a sleek and low profile. When I first saw them I thought there was no chance they'd fit me, but they do.
