Hello, I just bought my first pair of chelsea boots and I wanted to ask your opinion regarding this pair. Why is there a line going through the middle of the boot, and should I be returning this pair?

All RM Williams have this initially. You will see their is no jointing of the leather in the middle of the boot (only the rear) this is called a whole cut. As a consequence when the boot is on the wooden last where it’s shaped this line appears but after a few wears it disappears. One of the reasons these are so comfortable is the lack of extra seams to potentially rub.

I'm sorry if this has already been posted but has RM Williams gotten rid of their Burgundy Chelsea boot or have they just renamed it? Thanks.
