Also selling my brand new pair. I personally think RB's Almond Toe is one of the best and have been trying to find a pair of RTW for a while. I was looking for Maverick but end up finding this from Last and Lapel. Very elegant but unfortunately my instep is way too low for them. Please DM for details.

Also, I am very curious to understand if different RB lasts have the same instep?

I have 2 pairs of RB shoes, both oxfords.
UK7 in chisel and UK7.5 in Almond toe.

The chisel actually fits me well, the instep fits just right. However the Almond toe left me a significant gap in the instep.
(However Last and Lapel told me that all RB lasts have the same instep)

I am just wondering if the instep differences I found are due to different last or due to different retailer?

The reason I am asking is because I think I still want to own a pair of their Almond Toe last if possible....

To be honest, I've never worn my pair. The poor fit around the ankle and instep, as well as the terrible transaction has still left me with a sour taste.

IRT to the Bestetti brand, Marco happened, from all accounts.
Certainly no desire to wish ill upon others, but I honestly couldn’t care less if anything has happened to the man himself.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but my experience with Marco was great. His communication was great, trial shoes were delivered timely, and his fit correction advice was perfect. I purchased my wedding shoes from him, and they were the most beautiful shoes I’ve ever seen. Fit was also on-point. Very odd that he’s vanished. I was hoping to purchase another pair.
