Yeah the Munson Ranger looks great but again is not available Stateside. Why Red Wing, why?

Some other Asian only models that need to come to the USA:

Okay, so "patina" is one thing to aim for in boots. But is it possible to keep Redwing's Hawethorne Muleskinner leather looking "clean", even after a lot of use? I really like the look they have fresh out of the box, that's why I'm asking...

Saphir suede shampoo is quite good. I would give it a try, if just brushing and eraser is not enough.

Source?

That'd be awesome

Yeah is there confirmation of this? If it's legit, that would be awesome -- I've been eyeing these since first seeing them in Japanese men's fashion mags.

While we're on the subject, I heard from Kyle @ Baker's that the Blacksmith 2959 in Copper Rough N Tough is coming our way for Fall '15 (available in late July). I love that leather.

Just took delivery of these beautiful RW Harvester #2943 boots in Amber Harness. Big thanks to meridiansystem for the hookup on where I could scoop them up -- I swear this was the last 12D in the states.

They are great shoes, especially if you like the higher cut. The toe profile seems slimmer than my Beckmans/Blacksmiths, but doesn't feel any tighter in the toe box.

Bl@ster, where did you pick up those laces for yours? Finding 60" laces (outside of the traditional hiking/work boot laces) can be tricky.

The laces pictured are from ShoelaceExpress. Here's the direct link to the laces, which are available in 63":

Those look great, Solo. Nice one.
