Bobo- I picked up a camel duffle this winter, and it's great with anything other than tan trousers.

Hey Lane, where did you happen to find that style Drkshdw jacket? I love how he places multiple buttons on the cuffs now, rather than the single button.

Finally found a pair of the Cabourn linen denim naval trousers (minus the braces) from SS11 in my size (and at a great price, too). These will be the perfect summer alternative to jeans.

Pretty standard compared to some people, but I've been wanting to find some red shoes for awhile and got these for 115 today on B&S. Hope to pull them off with basic shorts and denims:

EG Bedford. Seller wasn't sure what season it's from, but it's 100% navy cotton

granted i'm still building up my wardrobe too, but i think the key for someone like you who just wants to go above the basics is to buy interesting individual pieces. for example one of those badass geller shirts with the pin through the collar (bows1 on style forum has one), some slim black waxes jeans, and some moma boots or something is going to look a look more "steezy" than a uniqlo button-down, apc jeans, and vans. just buy cool clothes that you like.

Mikey what happened dude I thought you were going to get all goth ninja steezy on us?

not at all. i was just using that as an example because it's the first thing that popped into my head. i think that would look cool, but i wouldn't wear it.

once you wear eg, its hard to give it up.

agreed! now that I got a few staple outerwear pieces i'd like to eventually get some of the crazies fabrics/designs. all in due time though.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
