My gf brought me some straps from the boutique and I'm wondering which is the best option: the blue shell cordovan, blue canvas, or the brown gator. What yall think? View attachment 2303857
I love the blue leather strap and the brown alligator strap. I am not a fan of their canvas straps. To me their canvas straps are the equivalent of acid wash jorts. JLC is trying way too hard to make the Reverso more casual than it is. It's like Patek with their denim style straps, in my eyes it just doesn't work.

Still, I love your new Reverso and the other 2 straps look fantastic with it. Cheers

1. Brown gator
2. Blue leather
3. Trash the blue canvas. Doesn't belong on a gold Reverso.
Agree with both. The canvas is totally out of place with that watch. Maybe if it were stainless steel, but gold? No.

Any dressier watch deserves gator, brown or black. And for my tastes, dressier watches or any watch for that matter, enjoy a deployant.

This is a poor man's watch thread post but Longines' JLC master thin moonphase ripoff, the heritage flagship moonphase, is awesome. Probably a little too thick for the youtube watch commentariat's liking but for like $2400 after discount, I could live with it. Trying to get them to send me one to take to Pitti to see how I like it for more than just a few minutes in an AD.

is the duofaced reverso chronograph also a GMT (because the 2nd face can operate on a different timezone like the other day/night reversos?)

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
