Great photos and great looking boots but if they are more narrow than the 325, then they will not fit me.

I hope I haven't confused you: I always wear insoles. So if you don't use any insoles or only thin leather insoles and/or thicker socks, you might find the toe box of the new last 394 roomy enough. Insoles and thicker socks might be too much for some feet in the Donegal.

These are my favorite C&J boots, I managed to get a pair from a sale just before they were discontinued. Also old chinos from the Berg&Berg started, superb quality.

Hmm. I need a "wear with almost everything" pair of black boots. Could it be the Coniston in black scotch grain? Or does that come across too military or formal on the foot? Haven't seen a pair in person yet.
