And here they are: Skyes in Navy Suede, I really like suede!
Of course I will choose other trousers for the real first wear...

Hi @shoeinvestor
How are you enjoying the Navy suede Skye’s? Do you have any more photos of them with other trousers?

I’ve got the last pair in my size on hold with the Dutch store at the moment and just deciding whether to go for it.

Any feedback much appreciated!

Thanks
Tim

Is that Navy or Ocean Suede? I ask because I'm getting ready to place a MTO for a pair of ocean suede Boston loafers. I live in an area that is warm and gets very little rain, I find that suede is really easy to take care of, and the vamp does not crease as much. The saphir suede spray that has almond oil and a bit if blue pigment in it makes them look new again - it's just an amazing product. I have quite a few pairs of blue suede shoes - I think the shade of blue you have with these would look great with very light wash blue jeans. I have the following pair of jeans, I wear them with suede that are similar to what you have on, as well as dark blue Pembroke's that I pair with light blue laces....

Zwartjes list them as Navy Suede. However, they are somewhat lighter in colour than my C&J Hyle in Navy Suede. I would not rely too much on colour consistency. For example, I have a pair of Camberleys in Tobacco Suede which have the exact same colour as all my Snuff Suede C&Js.

Sorry, due to my somewhat larger rotation, I have worn them only thrice so far and I really like them. I only took the following photos with another pair of trousers. But I also wear them with muted red twill trousers.

Thank you very much, greatly appreciated.

I need to weigh up that returns will be difficult/costly from the UK in the (unlikely) event I choose not to keep them. They would be my first pair of navy suede boots so unsure how well they will match with my usual outfits/trouser choices until I’ve tried them on. But they look very nice in your photos..

Decisions decisions…

They are stunningly good photographs! Great lighting and the clothing and background all make the boots the star of the show! Very talented to have the vision to create such great shots. C&J should pay you to use them for marketing!

Wore my MTO Navy Blue Pembroke's with royal blue laces today...I think C&J navy blue or their ocean blue goes so well with light grey pants. I wear a navy blue shirt, and typically tie it all together with a navy blue faced Omega Seamaster that has a navy blue alligator strap. I'm posting a second picture from today, but with direct sun light. These are such a dark navy blue that I've been polishing them with the saphir #7 called "saphir blue" - you can really see the polish blend with the dark navy and it's giving them a lighter blue patina - I really like them now, it's why I put in the royal blue laces - they were so dark blue when new they looked black....

Merit goes to the GMTO creator and I think there was a previous GMTO a few years ago having the same specs.
They are really great, I might be tempted if there was at some point a GMTO for Black Russian calf.

As luck would have it, you could potentially help get a Black J&FJ Baker’s Russian grain Islay GMTO over the minimum threshold…

Thank you so very much! 🌞

I took my DBSGs out yesterday, they had become quite a bit jealous of the TSGs lately.
