Tangling with a tornado warned supercell up close and personal. Tornado to the left of me, hail to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with you....

You really do need to be a special breed of nuts to do this sort of thing.

Hoping to get some advice from those of you who travel extensively with photo gear - I'm heading to Europe in <2 weeks (Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna - first time in each city), and trying to decide what to bring along.

I'll have a setup primarily based on m43 gear - Olympus OM-D E-M5 + the Panasonic 7-14mm/f4 (14-28mm equivalent) for certain. In addition, I just ordered/am planning to bring an Olympus XZ-2 compact (28-112mm equivalent f/1.8-2.5 lens).

I've also got the following lenses which I could bring, listed roughly in order of probability:
Sigma 19mm f/2.8 - 38mm equivalent; useful to have on the E-M5 at night.
Olympus 45mm f/1.8 - 90mm equivalent. Not sure how much use I'd have for this focal length, and I'm not sure it's worth bringing now that I have the XZ-2.
Olympus 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens - 14-84mm equivalent. Don't see much use for this since I'll have the XZ-2
Olympus 60mm f/2.8 macro - Don't really see any reason to bring this

I'm leaning toward bringing the E-M5 along with the 7-14mm and 19mm prime, plus the XZ-2. My suspicion is that I'll likely be concentrating on the wide angle during the day, and can swap in the faster prime at night, with the XZ-2 as a backup for both.

Any suggestions or recommendations from experienced travelers would be appreciated.

I was watching Bill O'Reilly and got distracted by the weather; which inspired me to bring out the camera; which doesn't happen often enough any more...

Some sh*t was going down near my apartment. Snapped this pic for fb but thought lights looked cool with the reflection from the wet street.

Would be curious how it would come out with a long exposure

You really don't want to see this sort of stuff heading your way.

Wall cloud with rotation and a possible tornado...

An isolated supercell thunderstorm with a hail core from hell...
