... deciding between these two bezels. Thoughts?

I'm surprised by this, but prefer the lighter bezel with this dial/hands combo -- the dark bezel matches the hands well, but then the dial feels out of place (to me). The lighter bezel isn't as refined as the black one somehow, and I think that's a better match for the dial. Nice watch!

(I'm waiting for those exact hands right now to put together my own home-made "radio room" amphibia. I'll post it when I get it together.)

Jazz, whats that Seiko on the striped nato?

Are all the years of images on SF lost forever? They are a valuable resource!

It's a recraft SNKN01. I have three of the recraft series, love them all... a real PMW they are just a little over $100. I think the bugs on the photo feature have not been worked out yet (I hope) It took me over an hour to figure out how to upload photos. Not real keen on this new system yet. :( And we lost all those cool emojis that we used to have!

I was pretty tempted a few months back. In the end I got a Helson because bronze doorstop. But, I was equally impressed by Deep Blue's apparent value proposition, and one of their divers really was singing to me - I think the 1000m pro something or other in blue on a five-link bracelet?

I had a tritium model (I believe daynight?) for a short while. They are solid watches, but the knuckle-dragger case dimensions eventually put me off. My wrists are 7.5'' and 42mm is about the max that is appropriate, IMO. Dive watches should not be ballast.

Timex designed in collaboration with 1ST PAT-RN a line of men's and women's apparel from Italy. The look is a mix of military, 1960's Ivy and workwear. Nice to see affordable attractive watches.
