After several months, the arrival of some fittings from my former tailor in Milan who passed away. Rest in peace, my friend.

His family was gracious enough to send them to me.

I will have them finished by my friend in Seoul who was trained at the same school as the guys that invented Assisi in Seoul. Then by a Japanese tailor in Milan for a year, then spent almost 3 years at F. Caraceni and then another 6 months to a year learning to cut by a mbt in Milan (I know the name but not am at liberty to say). He’s back in Seoul now and started his own sartoria. Compared to Assisi, he is actually cutting Milanese garments.

But I am very thankful to him for agreeing to finish these outstanding projects. I will wear them in honor of my now-deceased Milanese tailor.

The fabrics are as follows:

-a gray worsted pow flannel from drapers with a blue overcheck (vintage made by Carlo barbera)
-a linen-wool blend solaro (vintage)
-a vintage blue cashmere & vicuña blend sports jacket (super soft)

Personally, I don’t care very much for Leonardo Bugelli’s bd shirts. His spread collars are quite nice though.

There is a very high probability that he sourced it from Giancarlo Bonfanti.
