All good but lets start adding in some different looks to the plain blue textured suits.

Appreciate the concern. I’ve got plenty of variety in my life. The fall/winter rotation

looks great, who's the tailor?
Very old fella (almost 80) in North London, I came across him by chance when I needed to get some jackets altered.

Unfortunately due to health problems he himself has some uncertainty on when he will finally close up shop but he is still going strong.

Interesting to me to see the variation of where the shoulder seam rests on the hanger. All different. Some are very forward and some are falling off the hanger towards the back. A few are in the middle or centered on the hanger

Yep. I’ve noticed that as well in the past as did @bdavro23
There are 4 RTW pieces and then 3 different tailors in the mix. Mix of DB and SB.

every year I ask myself - what should I commission this year for spring/summer

for spring/shoulder season I already have this worsted wool moon in the making:

added last time these (another worsted wool moon, a dark green linen, navy standeven explorer and a rather beefy bateman ogden hopsack):

some ideas that I have -
something from the LP Mare bunch: https://textile.loropiana.com/digital_bunch/mare/?lang=en#

Fox Sport?- https://foxflannel.com/collections/fox-sport/products/fox-sport-bright-navy-basketweave

love the idea of a pink jacket (shout out to the pink jacket thread): https://www.standevenfabrics.co.uk/product/32004-pink-sharkskin/

mohairblends would be great:
https://www.standevenfabrics.co.uk/product/5086-french-navy-mesh/
https://www.standevenfabrics.co.uk/product/5024-navy-blue-plain-mesh-jacketing/

of course, cotton suits in lovat, beige or navy are set

just to discuss some ideas that I have and get some ideas from experienced wearers

I'm looking for standard "builds", some more casual textured cloth and also 2-3 fun projects, like the pink jacket or the benett silks silkblend)

Everything looks great. I particularly like the Moon gun club checks.

Out of curiosity, did you acquire this Standeven Explorer length on eBay? I am wondering if it is the same fabric as mine. What will you use it for? I was thinking a three-piece SB.

Regarding some more playful ideas, I’d go for something in pink-red perhaps with an overcheck. Here is a length of LP wool-silk-linen that I own. I would pair with some off-white, grey or blue trousers. It is pretty high on the list of my upcoming commissions - perhaps it will also inspire one of yours.

Loved your choices, in particular the first worsted wool (nice pattern) and the green linen - lovely shade of green! what piece do you have in mind for it?

I’ve got a blue linen. And a blue wool silk linen. View attachment 2140203
A blue cotton could be sweet though. Good idea.

This WSL from Caccioppoli looks fantastic!

How do people find the length of the sleeves here? Would you prefer to show more cuff? I have different jackets where the sleeves range from longer to shorter and can't really decide which is the more flattering or appropriate length - it does feel more of a stylistic preference.

I prefer the sleeves shorter, showing 3,5/4 cm of the shirt sleeve, but, as you said, it's a matter of personal preference, not that one choice is right and the other is wrong. You should simply avoid excesses, as the jacket's sleeve thoroughly covering the shirt's one, or on the contrary showing almost the whole cuff.

Wouldn’t judge too much from a single static picture since we will never actually stand in the robo pose in real life. The camera is also pointing down in this photo. My suits all show about a quarter inch of cuff which is my preferred amount.

Do you mean this as 3.5/4cm (.875 cm or .33 inches) or 3.5-4cm (1.4-1.6 inches)?
