I've never purchased anything from a website located out of the US (I am located in New York). Anyone have any idea, if I'm about to spend around $500-550 at Norse Store--approx. how much V.A.T. will I be excepted to pay once I received the package? Thanks in advance.

I wonder why UM has their sale so late comparatively. I'm sure it doesn't hurt them but I'm done with A/W and looking (and budgeting) for S/S.

If gothninja is your thing, you will be disappointed.
If classic menswear is your thing, you will be disappointed.
If you like workwear like beams+, journal standard and kapital you will be happy.

I get that but UM sales are always late in the season, only discount a portion of their stock, and goes up to like 30% off before everything good is gone? I would assume you could find most of the stuff for cheaper + earlier.

Never really understood the excitement around it either.

Plus their stuff is often overpriced to begin with compared to other shops, or at least that used to be the case.

Curious about this too....I've got a cardi in transit from Norseprojects.com

I have a couple friends in Cali who have made multiple orders from them and never got hit with customs fees. Wonder how it will work out here in Colorado??

Inventory seems to have dropped prices further. Picked up a few more Homespun henleys for a song.

UM and inventory do a huge unloading at the end of the season, that's for sure.
I'd actually rather have it this way, with the exception that the activity kills the website!
Some retailers have mailing lists that spam me (until I unsub) twice a day with EXTRA SPECIAL deals which are the same 20% as the previous day.

UM site is slow but working, so I looked through the sale. Nothing I wanted, I had picked up a couple items earlier which didn't go on sale anyway.

Same for the Drake's sale.

I figured you would have never given them another dime of your business.

Yeah, I remember saying that :embar: But, they work well with my plan of buying goods only from a shop in the country of origin (if I can help it). 60+% off also helps ;)

Lots of nice stuff on the UM sale, especially if you like indigo and outerwear... two of my weaknesses. I got no money left, though...
