If you won't ask her, I will.
The place sounds like a gold mine for RLPL. And to think I could have been in Florida this week and turned it down.

Take to "RLPL gold mine" part lightly. I have been visiting weekly for 4 months now, and the RLPL polo appearance was the first gem of this type in that time.

Although, now I'll have to check how often the shoe situation manifests.

It's not, it absolutely isn't - trust me. Once in a while we get some there, but it's sporadic at best. And, like I said earlier, if it gets dropped on a weekend when a lot of tourists are here - for ex., there's a couple of weeks out of the year when Brazilians are here by the busloads - the place get's picked about as quick as it gets put out.

fwiw - about 4 years ago, RL opened a "high end" outlet store in the same plaza. It was originally about 50/50 mens/womens and almost all RLPL and RLBL. It was a small shop, but they had the goods. Unfortunately, they pulled the plug on it about 6 months later and changed it to a RL Children's store which is still there now (WTF?). For quite a while afterwards large shipments of RLPL and BL were still landing at our outlets. One rep told me they were mistakenly for the - now closed - high end store, but they had already been designated for Orlando so it was easier to just dump it out the nearest outlets. That lasted about 3 months and, honestly, ever since I think we get -less- almost as punishment.

(crossed post in streetwear and demin sales)

Okay, here's the deal. The Ralph Lauren sale started a day early, and is on now. The items that discounted can be viewed here: http://www.ralphlauren.com/mvc

The men's stuff is mostly 30% off + the 15% bonus. There's RLX and golf at 40% off. I didn't find any discounted RRL. The women's sale is better, btw; I bought more things for this wife on this go. Anyways, for those who want to know: the cordovan Marlows are on offer, and w/ the discount it's $505, which saves you almost $350.

Code is a one-time use. I hadn't received mine in the mail, so I called customer service and they gave me mine over the phone. If you don't have a code but have ordered from RL in the past they can pull up your order history or you many be able to social engineer one.

you are probably right, I don't go there too much anymore. but a year to a year and a half ago, it was definitely really nice. also, last month I picked up a RLPL jacket there - it's pinstriped and is missing buttons, but I am either gonna find the buttons for it or put it on B&S
