there is less maintenance with shell. basically you just wipe off dirt and brush for 30 secs. venetian twice a year. simple


and shell is actually more work wear than calf.

I've heard some people say their's get lots of dents and need to be brushed a lot.

So close. I had to sell my precious cipresso boot because the 2298 (in shell) last wasn't an ideal fit and my life has since felt less green and cipresso empty. Basically a cognac brown/burgundy wasteland

Also just picked up a pair of Tricker's chelseas, very nice.
