Hi,I'm new here but I've been admiring some of the stunning boots and shoes on here,I've got trickers stow in Marron antique,but today I picked up a pair of stow in burgundy on a commando sole for £150(well made up)I'll post pics when I know what I'm doing....

Where did you manage to find some Stows for £150? Lucky auction on eBay?

To maxx of all places,they had some stow boots in acorn but they were to big otherwise I would have had them as well...

The new Tricker's fashion line seems to comprise boots and shoes made using Haas leather. The French tannery. What's the deal? Anybody have any insights? How does the Haas compare with the traditional leather used by Tricker's?

It's a family owned company since 1842

with no interruption (they invented the Novocalf and are known for their rustic and thick leathers) so they certainly meet the high quality standards required by Tricker's.

Impulse pickup: Tricker's Brad boots in suede w/crepe sole. These won't look properly boot-like until they get some miles on em.

I think you'll like em. I've got some Stows in suede with crepe soles and like you say they start to look better with a few miles on them. The crepe used by Trickers is good quality in my experience - although I only use the Stows a couple of times a month they are wearing well although I try and avoid using them in the wet.
