for 25% off at SA (sitewide I think), brings the Navy Multis to $105 shipped.

It's a silly item...kinda like the 'blob' shirt from Jil, I think.

This is the painted pair I got years ago: http://cf4.thefancy.com/default/217734161_8c4ad2ecfa64.jpg

This is the pair I want to buy next: http://www.bubblews.com/assets/images/news/126406594_1369162021.jpg
I find the MMM GAT to be pretty comfortable, though not as much as performance oriented shoes like the Kobes. The MMM Mids on the other hand is not too comfy for me.

I wasn't going to post anything but I looked at these again. The first one you've had looks like you paint houses for a living and the second one looks like a hipster painter who wants everyone to know he's an 'artist'. I'm not gonna preach to you, but this faux-birdshit drives me nuts.

If you can't tell I think all 'regular' distressed clothing is wrong.

hoodyear or anyone else,

I've never been a runner and have never even worn a pair of running shoes. Can they be worn as regular street shoes or is the fit too awkward for regular walking?

If you want something for casual wear and training, get some Flyknits. Personally though I find I only wear my performance shoes for working out most of the time. Flyknits look okay in the right context but I find GATs or CPs or even just Chucks or something usually end up looking better.

Edit: I may have misread the question. Yeah, a lot of people wear Nike running shoes as casual shoes and never work out in them. If you like how they look, go for it. Also, please drop the painted MMM talk already :/

I agree with Chet. Flyknits look good with workout/athletic clothes but not as nice in streetwear outfits. I feel the lunar 1 soles don't work as well in streetwear outfits as the trainer or even the racer sole.

Good advice the flyknits are too sporty for streetwear. Chetb, I'll drop the MMM hate here, but did you request since it's off-topic or you own a pair yourself?

Yeah, I like them worn casually with sweats or with cropped pants. They always look suboptimal to me otherwise in casual fits.

I do own them but I say it for the former reason.
