Wait, you contract ends in January and you'll definitely be gone after that? It's mid-november and you have no long term prospects with this company. Sure, you may or may not have a future in acting but what did you really owe these people? Bizzare.

I would just have been upfront and gone to get the acting money. They are guaranteeing you no future and would have a problem with you taking two days off? Would they get in the way of you interviewing, too?

You need to reserve your loyalty to those who have your interest at heart.
