Is Barbarian sportswear and their rugby shirts cream of the crop per se, or are there any other makers that share the same space? I see a lot of the Korean menswear wear Barbarian and trust their judgement.

X-post from Brogue thread:

I MTO'd a pair of Bontoni 'Orsini' monks in navy blue during a trunk show - and got to meet Franco Gazzani, one of the company's founders.

Their MTO program is closer to MTM, as they can make various adjustments to the last. Also, the finishing is top notch.

finally open an international site

That is a very competitive price for a vicuna-blend SC.

Seems like good prospect. How would you describe their aesthetic? i.e., Drakes alternative, or something else entirely?

Don’t really know actually I just have seen them as another soft mainstream kind alternative, think Drake is more casual than this. This is closer to say RL?

Have you ordered from them before? Really nice style; wondering about quality. Thanks!

Local boutique had a fashion show, and I snapped this pic:

Apologies for the poor quality.

This is an Armani DB suit in their ‘Royal’ fit.

The jacket looks great, and the trousers are extra wide.

I don’t know if this look would ever take off IRL, but it is pretty sharp.

Edit: I believe it’s this suit:

Edit again: The hem is 10.4 inches at the cuff.

I have not they just opened their international store for the first time, I’m pretty sure someone has tried it though, I first heard about it from a member

I've been having issues with my outerwear causing excessive pilling of my knitwear, particularly in finer garments such as cashmere-silk blends. And, as I am eyeing new stuff to buy, I am wondering if wool lining is a good idea?

The particular item in question is this Soundman jacket.

I'd really appreciate some opinions!

I love this quote by Aaron Levine in an Instagram post by Stetson.
When it comes to decoding his own personal style, contrast is key, says Levine, who’ll be launching his own brand, @aaronlevineny, next month. “You know, something gritty playing off something pretty. I’ll wear a $10 waffle tee with one of Jake Mueser’s beautiful suits. That kind of juxtaposition is the most effective form of expressing who I am outwardly. I don’t play music. I’m not a sculptor. But clothing is an art form for me. So, when I’m designing or styling myself, I try to create tension.”
I'm sure there are many here who disagree with him, but it resonates with me.

This the Stetson post.
