I agree. I haven’t bought much this season either, not so much due to price but more to do with the lack of desirability of design and unimaginative styling, especially for e-commerce (but look books are weaker too than they used to be). I still think they should have catwalk shows, or at least look back to them for some styling tips

Personally I’ve been more and more excited about everything every new season. I’ve really grown to love the Mizuno collaboration as well. The prices are a bit too much, but I buy less as I’ve accumulated for many years and my older MH items have lasted extremely well.

It's interesting that the prices in Japan haven't increased at the same rate as the UK prices (for many items at least)

I'm fortunate in that their JP large usually fits me well, and I can definitely see myself buying more from JP via proxy if the pricing trends continue.

My guess is that the JP business is quite healthy, and that the UK/ROW is less so lately. At least when reading between the lines in the interview with the new MD that @oilbased shared earlier.

I have two coats for sale:

A small MHL stand collar parka from last season, barely worn:

And a main line shorter cotton raincoat in medium, worn but in good shape:

I have more pictures and info on ebay (for the MHL and the main line), but I'd be happy to sell them directly here for less... 300 plus shipping for the MHL and 120 plus shipping for the main line, OBO. Let me know if you're interested.

Do you guys size down from your typical size? I was looking at some knits but even in a size down I think they would be a decently loose fit. I'm 1.86m/6'1"ish and 82kg/180lbs. Usually an L or sometimes even XL in slim stuff but it looks like an M would be suitable in most MH

Always TTS for me. For outerwear, I try to go up a size for more comfortable layering but sometimes run into an issue where the sleeves are a tad too long. MH tends to have comically long sleeves for some reason.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
