pants came in, super happy, the $99 wool flannel is THICK. very warm. these are constructed like a TANK, wow. just need to get the mid-thigh measurement trimmed a little bit for some excess on the drape (my fault - my replicate pants have this problem but is not as noticable because they're thin wool).

can't wait to order my next pair.

has anyone adjusted measurements from a previous replicate order? is there a special way to do this?

I've read earlier in this thread that Luxire would add machine made monograms for free which they later suspended due to quality concerns. On the website they now have the option for machine made monograms again, but still at the $20 additional fee for handmade monograms. Luxire, are you planning to return free machine made monograms or perhaps lower the price for machine made ones?

I have a second question for any of you guys living in Europe (France? Switzerland?):

Do any of you have to pay VAT/Duty fees when receiving the Luxire package? I ask because I'm actually from Switzerland and have been living in the USA for a couple months. I've ordered a couple shirts in the USA and was delighted to learn that we don't get hit by any additional taxes/import fees, and I'm hoping it will remain the case when i move back to Switzerland :). If that's not the case i just might have to order as many shirts as i can before moving back.

Those trousers look great! I simply put: Please use fit of order #1234 with the following adjustments: reduce cuff measurement by 0.25 inches and adjust for sloping shoulders as in picture xyz etc. I leave all other measurement fields blank.

I usually reference the order number and let them know where to remove excess fabric. I accompany these instructions with wacky and confusing graphics. Works great this way usually.

Kind of laughing here because some of my own instructions basically look like a game of "Stump The Master Tailors". So far Luxire has, thankfully, proven to be un-stumpable.

Pants look great, congrats! Edit: Do you have a pleat? If not, then that crease probably shouldn't go all the way up to the waistband. And how does it fit from the back?

Discovering Luxire in 2013 has transformed and influenced my casual wardrobe in more ways than words can describe. So here's a picture of what you get for as little as $1000 total.

Left to right:

http://custom.luxire.com/products/blue-chambray-eta

Every time a new Luxire package arrives a new order is placed. I believe Chrystal Meth is easier to drop than these chinos. Another pair of chinos and a shirt are coming way.

By the way how do you pronounce @luxire ? When referring your services to German friends of mine I've heard the funniest pronunciations. I myself pronounce it by swallowing the 'ious' in 'luxurious'. I might need some phonetics

RE: pronunciation - I think it's intended to be a cross between 'luxury' and 'desire'. I pronounce it LUX-I-ER with a long 'I', rather than LUX-EER. I may be completely wrong, though. It certainly does not roll off the tongue easily for me.

Right there with you. I keep ordering shirts and I NEED to order more pants. I've got probably 15 shirts and three pants from Luxire.

I can definitly recommend the light tan twill. It is very soft and has a nice spring, summer, fall weight.

I think it depends more on the design of the trousers than on the fabric. Most twills work dressed up with a jacket if the trousers are finished in a clean design and are creased.

And how does it fit from the back?

here's a pic from the back, bad quality, had to get my little brother to take it. you can see the excess on the thighs more clearly in this picture. there's no "wedgy" pull, and i have a prominent seat.

and they did come with a seam it seems on the front, i selected flat front, its pictured below, this isn't considered a pleat though right? wish it was just flat all the way across. just noticed this.

edit: apologize for the sloppy hair, it's a snow day here in NJ, working remotely. god bless technology.
