How much would it cost to commision a jacket formed by a fabric not being listed as a suit/jacket alternative?

I always email them. They usually respond very quickly.

My first suit I purchased via the items on the site and some email follow up. Every suit after that I've emailed them to confirm pricing and other details case by case.

@luxire
I have these two trousers which are my favourite trousers by far

Do you have or are able to source the exsct same fabric but in dark gray or charcoal?
Dark grey, Charcoal, and black are available.
Not the best images as in the images, the fabrics look brighter than they are.

Thank you very much.

1. For the sake of comparison, is 9439 this one (which I have and would serve as a guideline)? https://luxire.com/products/dugdale_flannel_-medium-grey-twill?_pos=2&_sid=7f4deb98e&_ss=r

2. What are we looking at price wise for the dark gray and charcoal?

3. Is the rest of the bunch book also available? https://shop.dugdalebros.com/english-town-classics

Think these are my best fitting and overall best that I've gotten so far especially the brown pair. Other than a slight hem, I think these are about perfect. Any critiques?

Great blueprint I'd say. The back drape looks as good as you could wish for with MTO. However, there are improvements to be made since you've asked.

The pockets are flaring causing a gap. This is likely due to not having enough hip width. Most likely the front hip width, eventhough it looks like you could benefit from an incremental width at the back as well.

You're suffering from horizontal creases at the fork. This likely stems from the seat area. Most probably, it has been hollowed out assuming it'll produce a clean fit, when on the contrary, it causes tightness across the front of the trousers instead. See section horizontal creases at the fork

What’s the take on wool linen silk blend? Other than being a summer fabric, I presume it’s almost wrinkle free?

Almost wrinkle-free describes it pretty well. It's a thin, gauzy fabric (so while an unlined jacket is fine, some lining in the pants is recommended), but surprisingly warm. The wool in the blend tames the hand and wrinkles, while the linen cuts the heat a little and gives it beautiful texture.

Hard to go wrong with VBC.

Agree with the above suggestions.

I find Dugdale new fine worsted to be less than ideal for jacket drape, but perfectly fine for a trouser (warmer weather). Minnis fresco in anything but the lightest 8/9 oz work better than Dugdale NFW for a jacket. of course the heaviest Minnis fresco behaves similar to the VBC 4 ply.
I personally prefer the heavy 3-ply Minnis to VBC 4-ply. I think it holds a crease better and I like the crispier feel. VBC is definitely softer and more drapey though, so might be nicer as a jacket/suit.
