I find that wrinkles naturally come out of wool simply by hanging on proper hangers (clamping trouser hangers in particular) for a couple of days.

I think fear of steam is probably overstated unless you're going at seams aggressively with a fabric steamer. That said, I've never found the shower trick to actually accomplish anything.

Anybody have experience with the deerskin gloves? How's the quality? Heading to NY next month and don't have a pair of gloves currently...

I got a pair last week and they are great. They have a nice textured look to them, almost pebbled, compared to smoother calfskin gloves. They have a nice thickness to them, the cashmere lining feels great, and they are a little longer to cover more of your wrist. They are way better than a pair of calfskin cashmere lined Coach gloves I got a couple years ago.

Also picked up one of the new squares, and as usual, it looks and feels great.

@Kentwang Have you ever considered doing MTO shoes? Different materials in some of your designs or other slight alterations, etc?

@Kent Wang

I would love your classic brown tweed jacket in a 40R (maybe a 42R considering the slim cut).

http://www.kentwang.com/suits/tweed-herringbone-brown.html

I know it is sold out and the fabric is described as now unavailable. Would you be able to offer/suggest something very similar?

I'm having a difficult time finding such a staple piece and would love to make it my first KW jacket.

We can do this for the benchgrade but there will be a $100 custom charge, and it'll take about 3 months. A variety of suede is available, but only a limited selection of calf. Email [email protected]

First brown sportcoat. Thanks Kent Wang! Fit-pic to come later. It fits fantastic though.
Very nice! I wish Kent Wang would come to Chicago. No one ever comes here and I'd love to do an MTO suit in person.

My editor isn't working, so no quote. But...

It's an online MTO with perks to people near Kent. So, with that - Kent has an eye for a pretty good fitting. This is really close to perfect. Even sleeve rotation to fit perfect.

And there's a fabric label on this one. YES.
