John Lobb Jermyn II. I definitely expected them to be darker but doesn't bother me.

Thanks! Nope. The good thing about misty calf is that since it's crust leather, there are options to play with it.Stunning model and colour. I would prefer less burnishing, though.
Is it made to order?

I picked these boots up a few years ago on eBay from a doctor that had retired. They are the Sheringham model. Very rare. I haven't seen any others on the internet. Not the best fit for me, but very hard to let these beauties go. View attachment 2104235 View attachment 2104239
I thought part of the Lobb house aesthetic was that they don’t apply burnishing or antiquing? Or am I misremembering.
They normally don't but started applying patina a few years ago upon request for a few models.I thought part of the Lobb house aesthetic was that they don’t apply burnishing or antiquing? Or am I misremembering.
With a heavy heart I am listing these beauties. They are a touch too short. 9053 last View attachment 2131687 View attachment 2131689
