John Lobb Jermyn II. I definitely expected them to be darker but doesn't bother me.

Thanks! Nope. The good thing about misty calf is that since it's crust leather, there are options to play with it.

Can you please give the name of the colour? From the pictures it does not appear as a Misty one.

Edit: seen that it's the Grape Misty. Did you buy it in a local shop, or from a website?

I picked these boots up a few years ago on eBay from a doctor that had retired. They are the Sheringham model. Very rare. I haven't seen any others on the internet. Not the best fit for me, but very hard to let these beauties go. View attachment 2104235 View attachment 2104239

They are gorgeous indeed.

Great colour and leather. I love uniform colours, without much burnishing and antiquing, become seldom nowadays.

I thought part of the Lobb house aesthetic was that they don’t apply burnishing or antiquing? Or am I misremembering.

If you look above, you'll see a model heavily burnished. Besides, they use(d) a lot Museum and Misty leathers that are not uniform.
