Looking to get into buying some JE denim... What's the overall consensus on how to size.. I'm usually a 33-34 in Levi's/Acne

You are definitely a small in JE. You're probably a small in a lot of the brands you're buying a medium in unless you're just really broad up top.

I'm 5'8, 145 and I would be absolutely swimming in mediums. The oversized thing works on bigger dudes, but for guys like us, it just looks like we bought the wrong size. My baggier tops are cut pretty short which helps achieve the oversized silhouette but doesn't shorten my frame so much.

Yes. I go true in Achilles low, but size down on mids/highs and the Chelseas. They're a little snug at first, but they break-in and stretch.
I’m a US 10 and the guy at Barneys said 43 = US 10 and they fit perfectly. But with JE sizing, isn’t 43 = US 11?

How's the Yves? I tried on a fur coat similar and the fur would come rubbing off every time you put on and take off the coat
Mine sheds an insane amount. I thought with some wear it would eventually minimize itself, but my wife has a lapel vest by them that's 3-4 years old, and still sheds a good amount.

I want the red one but also waiting on sale. I don’t think I’ll get enough wear to pay retail on it.

I live in NY so I will get a lot of wear out of it. The only reason I am considering keeping it is because I am going on vacation to Italy next week and really want to take it with me lol

I live in 408, work in 650. Probably helps that I don't have sensitive skin with regards to wools and other knits.

I hardly notice any shedding with this, very minimal if at all. I owned an ojardorf from last season and that one would shed way too much.

How was that Ojardorf coat besides the shedding? Never heard of them but checking out their 2nd season and I’m very interested. Yves Salamon is a little too rich for my blood but this I can do.
