received my black bogota bomber in a small and like hannie2, i feel it's a little snug as well (i'm 5'9 135lbs). i made my decision based on the measurements and was convinced it would fit a little larger. ah well, it's still wearable.
as for the overall feel of the jacket, i'm a little underwhelmed. i was expecting insulation to be a little more substantial and the nylon shell to be shinier and smoother. i can't judge whether price is justified since there are jackets beyond and below that are comparable. but i think if i had sampled the jacket in person, i probably wouldn't have made the purchase.

I have the same numbers as you with athletic upper body and I wear everything JE in L =)
You must have really big chest/shoulders. I've been able to fit in mediums with 0 issues until this jacket. Prolly I just don't like clothes to be too long on my body.

Are you keeping the jacket?

I know there's been a lot of talk about the APC and Acne bombers but what other options are comparable? Especially at a lower price?

I have a medium oak l/s classic curve, I want to shrink it a little. Should I wash on dedicates then put in the dryer on dedicates rather than hang up? I don't wanted to double check so I don't ruin the shirt or end up with the collar damaged

Thanks!

any leads on a navy iridescent jacket (2)

yeah. too much effort to return it or sell it.

just on the ma1/bomber design itself in black (disregarding features and fit), uniqlo, alpha industries, h&m, asos and all them could be cheaper alternatives.

For those who have experience with the boucle sweatpants, I'm wondering if anyone can describe to what extent they stretch out.

I am 5'10, 160, with a 31 waist. I ordered a Medium and they're almost tights-like, which was surprising considering I have really skinny legs. I like a slim, fitted look, but am not going for a tights-type look. Any insight is appreciated

You won't get the look you want. They stretch but not that much

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
