Does anyone have any experience with both the 180 loafer and the golf derby? I wear a 10 F in the 180 loafer which fits perfectly. It’s their widest size shoe but the golf derby looks like it is a wide model so wondering if a 10 E would work. They don’t make 10 F in the golf Derby
I’m JMW 6.5D in 180, 7D in Golf. Golf sizing is equivalent to UK size.

I have both models in D width, even they are the same last, but thinking Golf could be a little narrower. The website suggest me a E width but the retailer didn't carry E so I settled for the D width, it will take some time to adjust even though I have tried stretching them with a shoe tree and a pair of thick sock. Going up half a size might help a little. My 180s were size 6D, I got golfs both in 6D and 61/2D, saying that they both fit is a lie, the 61/2D were way more comfortable than the 6D.
I just got an email from the primary boutique that I deal with - I was told that the 10 E would work for me. But if the golf Derby is narrower than the 180 it’s not going to work. I really like the chocolate suede with contrast stitching golf derby - it also has a rubber soul that I really like. I can’t go to a 10 1/2 - my 180s in 10 F have a tiny bit of heel slip. This was really good feedback and I appreciate it. Thank you so much - better than what I got from the boutique.

How unwieldy is the triple sole Golf derby, if anyone has experience with that or the triple-sole 180? I've read it takes a long time to wear in, but I'm wondering how that translates to how it feels to walk in them.

Old model, in fact it’s one of the oldest signature series of J.m. Weston. But it’s way too expensive and heard took ages to break in.
I emailed them to see if they can make that golf derby that I like in a 10 F as a custom order

Wow, it’s gonna be over a thousand dollars 😳
Try $1251 or 1200 euros - no thank you. Very disappointed by this...that's very expensive...as much as I would like to have them, I can't justify that kind of money when I already have so many pairs of shoes. I really love the brand, but they play loose and fast with the fitting rules. When I emailed at the manager at the Limoges boutique, I was told that 10 E would fit (even thought they know I wear a 10 F in the 180). When I bought my first pair of 180s I was told by them, and their measuring system that I needed a 9.5 E, this size/width wasn't even close - so I returned for a 10 F and they fit perfect - I Love them and the brand. Finally, I went in yesterday and put in the measurements of my feet for the Golf Derby, the measuring system came back and reported that this model does not fit my measurements. So the manger telling me that a 10 E would fit is bad information. Glad I didn't order..
