Was thinking the Daidos would be a buy for me, but I'm just not digging the ultra high polish gold tone they've done recently. Reminds me of those costume anodized Elvis glasses, which on paper could be fun but these are a miss for me.

May just be personal taste but I think they'd be so much better is a slightly more muted gold like my Reynolds

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone would be able to LC these Akira frames and Dealan frames I got for steals. No box and replacement veg. tanned case but the glasses feel pretty much identical in quality to my other pairs I have bought at retail. I know no box scares most people but i've never had issues with that in the past before. Thanks for the help!

Edit: on the Akira I see that the LE shows up as LL, it is just a bad angle it has the LE like all photos online.

I think they look good on you. Nobody is noticing the bright gold frame. They're focused on your beard. Again, I think they look good and the frame fits your face, just my opinion. They seem to compliment your face and beard, especially the lense color. And, no, I'm not a JMM sales rep.

I think shape, size etc look good but that gold reminds me if the fake one they use in decorations at the cheap Chinese restaurants around here.

Damn, looks like mine may be going back. Photos on the site made it appear that the bridge piece was a brushed gold which I dug. Will have to see what they look like in person.

Why the f*ck people keep trying to recreate them in style over and over is just beyond me. I was there and it was rubbish. The decade that style forgot. Thank god the Ramones and the Pistols turned the page on all that!
