Yeah, i laughed out loud instantly when i was watching "The Union" with my wife and this scene happened:

Mike-Colter-Jessica-De-Gouw-The-Union-081224-901e350b9cd246399ce136b11d774658.jpg

When she asked why i just said "don't worry... nothing...".

And today this beauty from MickeyPunch arrived (thanks again Mickey):

That Mickeypunch feller gets a lot of props here for smooth transactions. It good to hear

Also, what is this “Union” show? Any good?

The frame that suits him best, in my opinion, is Thundercloud
Anyway, if I had to imagine sly, I would picture him with aviator sunglasses

I checked episode 2, he is wearing the Molino in the scene you refer to. Also wearing the Wesley earlier in that epsiode.

thank you

So cool to see JMM (Jacques Marie Mage) prominently featured on such a rad show. I was also stoked to see JMM on that Gentleman show. I APPROVE!

100%

Hang on!
Weren’t you recently banging on about how the brand is being diluted by all these Hollywood celebrities!
I’M CONFUSED!

Luckily I caught the brand in 2019

So I just received my first pair of JMM. I purchased the Chelsea in noir with the blue lenses. The quality and thickness of the frames is undeniable. The fit/size I really like. I've got the fevah' and the only cure is more JMM. I searched the forum for information on the Rossi Donato. The only picture of someone wearing them has a head about 3 inches wider and rounder than mine. But other pictures I've seen like on Mr. Porter the face size seems to be narrower and the Donato looks good and different. Does anyone with a face size with a frame that is 143mm in width have the Donato?

Time to start looking at a refinance of your house and pulling some of that juicy equity out. It’s the way forward!

I have a feeling.
Unfortunately, you got into the game just as prices have skyrocketed through a combination of insane inflation and JMM’s (Jacques Marie Mage) greed for unreasonable profit along with extraordinary brand popularity (driven by the Hollyweird types). Way back when I got into the brand, prices were relatively expensive compared to other brands but still doable. Alas, those days are gone like dust in the wind. The best advice I can give you is to be thoughtful and deliberate about your JMM purchases. No impulse buys—believe you me you don’t want expensive regrets. Now, if you’re fortunate enough to where the dollar bills don’t mean a ding dang thing, then go hog wild.

Feel free to reach out to any of the more senior members on this here electronic bulletin board if you have any doubts. There are a lot of great fellers here ready to help!

Very insightful advice. I don't plan on going hog wild. I'll try not to dip into my children's inheritance too deeply(smiley face). Now that I have one pair and can sort of judge the sizing. It's better than closing my eyes and throwing a dart. On the other hand, the different shapes and measurements still seem like lottery without being able to try them on.

My problem is that after a couple dirty martinis or a couple Negroni, I look good in any glasses.
