Personally not a fan. The thinness of the wire frame is heavily emphasized with the clear lenses, and it makes the frame look really flimsy. Much different look than when it has sun lenses.
Understandable but I feel wouldn’t a regular or thick acetate frame be more emphasized with a regular optical in comparison to a thin frame? Because currently I got a square acetate from matsuda and I feel the frame is heavily emphasized with the clear lens.

Been looking for lightweight optical frame and I came across the Jagger thru the sales recommendation. I wonder what you guys think of the fit? Somehow optical frame for me tend to look better when oversized compare to sunglasses. I only worn square and rectangular shapes and this is first time trying an aviator style

I think that the frame looks good on you, on the other hand I don't feel the titanium and think that the strength of JMM is the acetate. I understand however that a light metal frame might be more comfortable.

Fellini are a much better fit for me than Belize.

My family actually thought they were the same pair as the Belize. Not sure if it's because they're the same basic shape, or if all my glasses are the same to them.

As others have noted though, it's interesting that JMM scales up the size and proportions and calls it a new frame.

On my desk, Fellinis look very similar to my Dealans, but wear drastically different. These are soft angular, but Dealans come across as more sharp and aggressive due to the upturned cat eye browline.

I have AS Dealans in hickory. Great glasses, among my favourites.

Then I fell for Dealan YS in wolf which violated my self-imposed policy of never repeating a frame style or a frame colour. So I got Fellini in hickory to replace the Delaan in hickory.

But I just can’t yet bring myself to part with the Dealans. So I now have two very similar frames in the same colour. Dealans have green lenses, Fellinis have teal. I tried listing out the pros and cons, and solicited opinions on here. Still no decision has been made … and may never be made!

Fellini on the left, Dealan on the right …

Fellini above, Dealan below. Comments welcome …

On me or just in general? 😁

There are some JMMs that just don’t work for me, and others which I would be hard put to decide which I like better and why.
To me Fellini is a lot better shape frame, but Dealan looks better on your face.

I´d keep them both but if I had to choose, Dealan, no doubt!

The Fellini looks great, it seems to be everybody's darling, and with a good reason.

Yes, I think you might be right.
On Monday I decided that I wanted a new pair of JMMs. And came on here to find out about the challenger in agar and then that its sold out. I called my local dealer and they told me that they got two allocations and someone else has already requested one of them.

It could become the next grail frame: 200 pieces are not many and, of course, there will be the usual speculators.

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
