I've had experience with both and they are different animals - the schott is way warmer and better made - it's a classic piece and I wear it more

Schott. The lack of pattern gives it a very classic appeal, and that's what a pea coat (peacoat? Google tells me it's two words) is all about.

I'm for the pea coat. It's a classic and will work season in and season out. Plus if you go for a vintage peacoat it will last forever.
