Is there a good reason why pre-orders aren't available below a size 7? Seeing all the deals is making my 6 EE feet jealous.

I just received these earlier today. They look fantastic. What does everyone recommend I should use to take care of them. I know saphir renovateur is a no go because it well removed the color dye. Well mix of Burgundy/black cream polish be enough to condition them? How well I remove the hard wax after a year? Should I even use hard wax on these?
