How to wear a corduroy shirt?

Hi first time poster!

I recently bought this corduroy shirt, and when I started looking online to see how it would fit into different outfits, I realized there wasn't much information on what works with corduroy shirts.

I've been only thinking about clothing more seriously for a couple of months now so I would really appreciate even basic advice. Can this be worn with jeans? Can this shirt be worn tucked in? What works with this color? etc.

Jeans and cords are a great combo and would work with this color. Corduroy is a more casual and cold weather fabric, so I'd pair with casual fall/winter stuff and not warm weather or formal stuff. No with a worsted wool suit or linen, yes with jeans, balmacaans, etc.

Since you've bought the shirt, I think you should just try it on with different outfits and see what works. For example, it's hard to tell whether you can wear it as an overshirt or as a shirt. Jeans should work.
