OK. First weird encounter of the vacation. After our first full day in Napoli, a full day of sight-seeing (the Palazzo Real, lunch at Gambrinus, the Museo Capella Sansevero, and the Museo National Archeaologico) we decide, on the spur of the moment to have dinner at a well-regarded hole-in-the-wall restaurant, Tandem Ragu. Who do my husband and I meet but unbelragazzo and his charming dinner companion. A delightful encounter, to be sure, but the laws of chance and probability were severely strained by the randomness of this meeting. Thank you, Ragazzo, for recognizing me and for speaking up, it made our trip to Naples all the more memorable.

Can we assume that the trip will include a few tailoring appointments as well? After all, you are in what is possibly the best city in the world for that...

Sorry to disappoint, but I will be leaving this fair city tomorrow, not enough time for fine tailoring. I will be in Rome for six nights, which might result in some ready-made swag, but nothing bespoke. Today was taken up with visiting Pompeii, in the rain, no less. At least there weren't any problems with crowds.

@sebastian mcfox great look. I'm now pissed I didn't pull the trigger on that Post Imperial striped linen. The narrow width scared me off, but it seems to make a good sized knot.

The tie is dwarfed a little by Formosa lapels, but seems to work quite well here with the slightly narrower lapels from BnTailor

Agreed. I'm not a stickler for such things, unless it's glaringly "off." Will have to keep an eye on PI moving forward. I love linen ties, and unfortunately there aren't many makers (to my knowledge) doing them in classic designs like the one you have.

It's been over a year since I last purchased from Indochino (and my style and fit has evolved) so I saved up, deleted all my measurements and started fresh. It took almost 3 months (3 suits) but it finally arrived. I will say that the fit was SPOT ON from the beginning (which isn't the norm from Indochino) but it was other issues (fabric not appearing as photographed, details missing) that necessitated 2 remakes after receiving the original. Here's the suit!

Indochino suit, custom spearpoint shirt from Natty shirts, 1930's tie (eBay)

I'm glad that they were able to do high rise with side adjusters on the SIDE as they are meant to (previous ones were attached on the back). The overall cut and style reminds me of the Ring Jacket model that the Armoury has! The $400 price at Indochino (after tax) makes it perfect for my measly budget though!
