You strike me as the kind of fellow who could learn to do many basic alterations fairly quickly.

Don, I'm afraid that's a miss for me. Don't like the shirt (either the stripe, or the curly collar), and a charcoal pinstripe suit with country brogues just doesn't have any consistency. The trousers hang quite well on you, though - I know that's something you've tried different ways.

However, negativity aside, are you making a nervous attempt at a smile there? Keep trying! Before you know it, you'll be throwing Clag poses all over the place and grinning like Professor Holdfast! :)

what are these shoes please?

Allen Edmonds "Aberdeen"--a discontinued line, I believe. But, still available, here and there, I'm sure.

Agreed. I have a sewing machine. I'm just too afraid that I'll ruin my clothes. I hope to take some classes soon.

Thank you for your remarks.

With the shirt I am very unsatisfied too. Forntunately I getting a Luxire shirt with a self designed collar tomorrow. If it fits well I think I will order 2-3 further shirts and with the time I can remove the T.M. Lewin and CT shirts.
The suit is navy blue and the color of the dark brown shoes fits good with the navy blue of the suit. Maybe it would be better for that formal business suit to wear more formal shoes, but here I think the a break in formality is not too big.
Trousers is one I wear with braces and that is the best way to wear trousers for me.
