nice Banis, but with your physique, i think a slightly larger leg opening on the pants would be better.

He wears a very full cut pant leg. I doubt anybody even sees the lack of socks. Probably has a pair stuffed in his drawer for when he really needs them.

I think it's at least a 3" brim - I don't recall Brooks having one with a larger brim. I am not aware, do they get much larger than that? And, for the record, I have a stupid big head compared to my gangly body and pencil neck (14.5"). Like, 7 3/8. Seriously big.

Yes - very satisfied. It gets very hot and humid around me so I wanted as lightweight as possible.

Thx, P. The fabric is probably not durable enough for the pants to overwear them, but I wanted a summer blazer and decided to get matching pants - I also figured the linen and silk would strengthen it slightly. First handful of wearings have been nice.

black suede. WHat color pairings would you recommend with lighter pastel color ties like this? I feel like blue is too matchy and pink would be too dandyish (for me at least). I also have a few off white summer ties that I can never match up.

I agree the fit of the suit was off. Im now 10 pounds down from 1 month ago, so all of my stuff is fitting unusually. The weight seems to have fallen off mostly my waist and hips, so pants are sitting low, and my waist suppression is not so prominent. I also thought I should have the pants tapered, they feel a little wide compared to my most recent Pantas (which I adore).

And yes, the angle of the pic was a little low.

For comparison, same suit today (at 162 lbs)

I think a black/white or blue/white houndstooth or glen plaid would have worked really well. maybe even a simple black grenadine.

^ Great look, Greg! Is the popped collar on the coat intentional? BTW, loving the shaved head. You look badass, no ****.....
