Help me pick a casual boot....

Just looking for a casual boot to wear with jeans. Here is a what I'm considering...thoughts?

I like the first two but they are the most expensive choices. What is your budget?

I would rather be closer to $200 but $400 is doable.

You could try the AE Bayfield, Alden Indy, 1000 mile boot, or just go for the standard Clarks chukka.

Ive been wearing Alden's 405 indy boot for two years now. Wouldn't really think about investing in anything else.

I am very partial to the first two choices as they are sleek but still casual enough to wear with jeans provided you're wearing a good sport shirt or dress shirt. They'll look silly with most polos and certainly with a t-shirt. I'm really lusting after a pair of Alden 405s right and would highly recommend that, too, but honestly it really depends on how you wear your jeans- dressier or more casual.

I just picked up the Peal Chukkas with crepe souls in Antique Sand. Decent boot for the price, and they are very comfortable (almost like I'm wearing slippers). If I were to spend more I would look at the Alden Indy boot.
